Fun in the Fall

Hello from Henrik!

Henrik's half birthday cupcakes, although we didn't have much chance to 'officially' celebrate.

Thomas the Train in Boone! An enjoyable time for the kids...not sure it will be a yearly tradition, but was a fun day.

Will was unsure of Sir Topam Hat (I doubt I spelled that right, but you get the point)

A half year old already! This pic was a couple weeks late, and I didn't take time to change to the white onesie, but he's clearly growing! We were also late for his '6 month checkup' but when we did get there he was 19#, 9 oz, and no health problems to note.

More Fall Fun pictures to come. Today was the Des Moines half marathon, and we have Gabbie's birthday coming up (she has picked all her decorations and made her cake request...) Plus, trick or treating!

So far things have been good since school beginning again. Gabbie has finally adjusted to the full days, and is doing both dance & gymnastics. I went back to work full time, which has gone surprizingly well. Its a little harder to stay organized, and meals at night can be pretty rushed since I'm not typically home before 5:30. Fortunately I love my job and don't spend much time staring at the clock to go home. But, I do miss my 1 1/2 days at home! We'll see if its a temporary or permanent change...its only been a few weeks.

Brice has been tackling his barn remodel project for his butchering...I'll get some pictures posted of that soon!
